October 23 and 24th. Quick and Dirty Boatbuilding- 14 hours to build a boat with the materials provided. Teams have a theme- which gives it a Mardi Gras feel. A race takes place when finished that requires rowing the first leg and sailing the second.Bands, food, a car show- lots of wooden boats. Grand Banks Woodies, Biloxi Luggers and much more. If you get up the Tchefuncte River by Thursday evening you should be able to anchor just North of the bridge, in the curve, port side. Be sure to drop a stern anchor.
