Spent two nights last weekend at City Marina, even with new breakwater the current still rips and the docks still rock. Marina was pretty much empty and I think the reason is the $24.95 charge per night for 50 Amp power. Conch House or Comanche Cove are better alternatives unless you need to be downtown.

Anyone going to the City Marina should ask for instructions to the used marine store.

Its a good walk , so bring your shopping cart if a spare anchor , a set of hatches or port lights are on the wish list.

Lots of small stuff , hardware , hinges , electric parts too.

Prices are 1/2 to 1/4 Sailorman if FT Laud.

Sailors Exchange is about a 10 block walk directly west on King Street from the City Marina. We always make the walk and stop at the Stainless Steel Dinner halfway there. The Exchange is open M-F 9:30 to 5:00 and Saturday until 2:00. Closed on Sunday and Monday. The also have another store in Jacksonville near the Ortega Marina, Lambs, Huckins, etc. It used to be called Pier 17.
