The fourwheeler is capable of 45 mph on land and water. Starting price is 43k. The ranger tug cruises at 10 knots and burns a PINT AN HOUR lol. 36 ft carver mariner is the boat i slept on. The baja has triple 454s with 6 ft 2 inches of interior headroom.
 
Ahh my home port. But I haven't been there this year.

I have been painting and doing the brightwork restoration and other big projects at Harborside Marina - the dealer of those Gibbs Quadjets. They have a BMW 1300cc engine. Takes about 4 seconds to convert from land to sea mode. They would be great for SAR teams.
 
Those of us who still go down to Washington Harbor in Michigan City, miss seeing Salty Dog at the entrance to the marina.

Nice to see Michigan City's Lighthouse! I resided in MC between 1963 and 1985 and launched trailerable boats from the yacht basin ramp. Still have a daughter and 2 grandkids in MC.

I really like that mini-trawler (for want of a better name) appear just below the yellow thing in the OP.
 
Mini tugs have a special place for some people. Either you hate them, or reapect them. I can go out and put around burning a pint an hour......Where do i sign? Haha. Michigan city is amazing. Ate at many of the local restaurants near the marina.
