We rolled down to Rockport this weekend thinking to take our new boat out for her 'maiden voyage' however we found a few issues...apparently the marina had a lightning strike a month or so ago and the marina people came around and disconnected all the shore power cords pending reconnection....and didnt reconnect. Thus, the float chargers werent working and all the batteries were flat. We werent there for long enough to recharge so its next time...
Then, I connected the hose to shore water only to discover, after a few minutes of bleeding the air out that the o ring in the water filter had been fitted improperly and was pissing water into the previously dry as a bone bilge...
Teething problems and not bad ones at that....so, all shall be fixed and the maiden voyage will be next time off...
