Is it possible to increase the current 1000 character limit for posts within the social groups? Posts frequently need to be split into 2 posts to work around this restriction.

Oh...and another thing...

When I click on a thread link outside of the social groups, I'm taken to the oldest unread post on that thread. In Social Groups, I'm always taken to post #1. Can this be modified to match the other threads?
