changebike, anyone have one? Seen one?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

Citizen makes nice folders also. I went cheap and got 2 beach cruisers from Wal-mart. The boat is big enough for full size bikes plus 26 inch bike ride lot better than 20.

We go with pawnshop/yard sale specials. We found that unless the bikes are stored inside, the elements take hold pretty quick. If we get to an area where we'll be tied to the dock for awhile, we can buy a couple for ~$100. When it's time to leave and are going to be at anchor, local kids or charities are always grateful.

Every time we headed south we had to buy new bikes cause' salt water kills them quick.

We have never liked folding bikes at all. We bought a couple of Trek's, belt drive (no chain), no gears, carbon fibre forks, aluminum frame, incredibly light and nothing to rust. My wife (5'2") can pick them both up at the same time and hold above her head.

Nice tip, Poker. I've got the space for full size bikes and these might fit the bill.
