Al, I can see why that is your favorite. I have never seen colors like that. Spectacular!
For Twisted, the Pelican Bay shot is not a great sunset shot, but evokes memories of pleasant nights at anchor. The most pleasant part of boating. Hope you get back out there. The Quarter Cove shot is the same for me. It takes me back.

Great shots everyone.
This one was from a few years ago. We were coming through Welcome Pass in BC and just about to pass Pender Harbour and enter the South end of Agamemnon channel.
And another from nearly the same spot either a year before or after.

Ah, moonrises... Great idea, hard to capture really well. Worthy of a thread all it's own. I'll start a thread on that when I get home as I've got a short moonrise video that turned out fairly decent. Now, as Craig would say, "back to your regularly scheduled programming"!

When people say that the sun rises in the East, I reply..."Not Always"!!!!! We had left Seattle headed for anchorage in the dark around 2130. As we proceeded Westbound it got lighter and lighter until finally...the sun rose on the western horizon. We had caught up to the sun. This picture was taken around midnight PDT. I felt a little odd donning my sunglasses at midnight as the sunlight scorched the back of the inside of my skull.....so I hid behind the glareshield.
