Spent over 98% of my life in the Bay Area (not including business and pleasure travel), but I've never set foot on The Rock.

I had duty at Letterman General Hospital at the Presidio and my barracks were right on the water. I used to view the rock on clear days. Never went there either.

Ditto. Two years ago I finally visited Yosemite for the first time. Still have never been to Tahoe.

I like to recreate away from crowds.

Took the tour for the first time a few months ago with Giggitoni. Jumped the Vallejo ferry into SF and enjoyed a day on the wharf and the rock. We found it very interesting and enjoyed the company of the Giggitonis.
