Swung in after work and fitted the Hoses, injector tubes, CAV injector pump, oil coolers and fuel filters. Ordered the return heater hose for the water pump to the thermostat housing.

The admiral came down today. She did a great job.
She finished putting on the oil cooler hoses, took the water pump off, fitted an elbow for the second oil cooler hose, chucked the water pump back on and did some womanly touches to the bolt heads.
I did a site clean up, arranged the tools, framed up and fitted the main heat exchanger as well as vacuumed the inside of the hull getting ready to have the inside painted then the motor can go in.
It's a good feeling putting parts back in the boat as opposed to taking them out.
Can't wait to get the Perkins in and bolted down.
Really happy and lucky that I have a wonderful fiancé that wants to come and help.

Look closely at the bottom pict on your post 367... engine is grinning.... heck, even the pallet is big smiling. Must be that those wide grins are from your months of bull-touches, complimented by yer luvly gal's womanly (very female) touches to the “bolt heads” and other periphery equipment! LOLLL
If I were you... I'd ask my gal to keep petting that diesel baby real nice n’ often – cause happy is as happy does! LMAO!
We all obviously can't wait till you fire that puppy up and let her roar on a video for we boat fanatics to vicariously drool over! Get It On!

We Can't wait either. We're So excited about starting her up. We are going to have an engine starting party. Once I get the tuning right etc, I will shut it down then get whoever wants to come Over to have a few drinks and "officially" start her up

hum....a beautiful Yatch like your building will most certainly be a chick magnet. You may have to invest in a chick zapper like used for skeeters to keep the pesky critters in check......maybe that's not a good idea cause then your boat will be covered with zapped chicks in bikini's!
Nah no need. My girl will have a slap down with any pesky critter. Not that it would come to that as Im a one girl kinda guy!
