We all know the boat you own, what's your daily driver?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Mama drives a 2008 Infiniti G35X with AWD we've owned since new. My daily driver is a 2005 BMW 335ci convertible I've owned for 5 years. I also have a 1998 Exploder that I've owned since new and that just rolled over 103K on the odo.

1998 ml 320 Benz & 2006 mustang GT with a few engine mods, it spends most of the time in the garage. Wife drives a 2002 Audi Avant.

Ducati st4 and Dodge ram.

Oldie Mercedes for us. A 2001 E320 & a 2000 S500.

The E class is at almost 200K & is showing wear so I'm hoping to find a station wagon version soon.

My daily driver for the last 15 years or so. Currently has almost 260,000 miles on it. Being replaced this month.

I love mine!! I had a 2004 e320 wagon I sold when we didn't need a second car, then later we needed one again and I got a 2005 e500. The 320 had the power tailgate. Didn't realize how great that was til I got the 500 and it doesn't have one. I highly recommend that option! Good luck in your search.

Looks to be a 635csi ;) ....just a guess. One of the best looking BMW's ever made... IMHO

Thanks. Another boat comes first...

I drive a 1999 VW Eurovan. It is difficult to believe what can fit into one of these things! I've hauled more stuff that I was sure that I'd have to rent a truck for. We also use it for camping.

I drive a 2012 Citroen C5 3 litre twin turbo as a daily driver. It's got the hydropneumatic suspension so the ride is as close to a boat on wheels as you can get.

The weekend cars are a 1974 Citroen DS23 auto/carby with a/c and a 1972 Citroen DS21 EFI/5 speed manual without a/c. One has exceptionally long legs and is a great highway cruiser. The other makes for very relaxed tootling around town.

You could say I like my Citroens!

We've hired Citroen C5s in France for vacations and for work. Mostly diesels, both sedans and estates. Very impressive cars. We really liked them.

Citroen has always built a nice car. They failed in the US as almost every other European car company has (except the Germans) by not understanding the US car business. They all tried to run their operations as they were in Europe. Small mom and pop business with the owner living upstairs. Parts available with in a week or two and so on. That didn't work here even in the 50' and 60's. Renault tried twice, the second time with even buying an American company in 1979. But due to the in fighting and the hard heads of the French that didn't work either.

Fiat is the company that is going to pull it off. They have pulled Chrysler back from the grave for the third time. Yes with the US government's help but to be fair they have repaid everything ahead of schedule. The Fiat 500 is here as well as the Alfa Giulietta, which is the new Dodge Dart. The Dart is built here in the US and will be shipped world wide. The Alfa 4-C will be coming later this year under the Alfa name plate. It is a high tech carbon fiber body with a weight of 2000 lbs and a 1.75 L, Turbo, Direct Injection engine that puts out 240 HP. Corvette stand by. This may be another share of your market leaving.

Beside how bad can a Citroen be, Simon Baker, the Mentalist drives one on TV and Peter Sellers drove one into the swimming pool as Inspector Clouseau.

beachbum29,
I think it's a 3/4 ton. It's my wife's garden truck. Just took the carburetor off and down to the shop for a rebuild. It's got a 350 engine in it that's not the original. Has a low geared rear end and a very crisp shifting 3 speed auto. We bought it from a guy that had it to tow his Airstream trailer. If the Suburban dies the PU will have to tow the boats and our utility trailer.

I drive a 2002 Lexus ES300 and the Admiral drives a 2006 Lexus RX400h AWD (hybrid). Both great comfortable cars, but the RX is a true pleasure to drive.

The 400h electric motors combined with the 3.3L engine make it a fast family car that is capable of hauling a load to the boat, carry a load of bicycles to the trail, race through a curve like it's on a rail and carry it's crew in comfort befitting the name Lexus. Ironically, the only thing not impressive is its 22-24 MPG in a hybrid!

Beach Bum,
No .. it says Chyenne-10 so I'd re-guess it's a 1 ton. It rides nice for a truck. Got the carb back today. What's your interest in it?

It's a half ton then. I just like those year Chevy trucks.
I like em also,
I'm kinda a Chevy 67-72 guru of sorts. I used to collect em, right now I'm down to 67 4X4 stepside shortbed (very rare) and a 70 suburban 4X4. Recently sold a 72 1 ton, 70 3/4 ton 4X4 burban, 72 shortbed 4X4 and a 70 burban. Got rid of a few other types anticipating a future trawler purchase

Never owned one just a fan. The right truck can bring nice $$$ at a collector car auction.

Don't have many pics of vehicles but here's another of the 72 Chevy and the Burb. Also seen is my new carport shelter under construction. The Burb has a 4 speed truck trans ... Rogue how rare is that? Is that a BSA in your avatar?

Cap C,
I like your expression "dockbox".
