First big trip

We did it........left Matts Matts bay at about 12:00 Saturday and made it into Shilshole Marina at about 3:00. We decided that we couldn't make it to Tacoma by dark so we stayed at Shilshole until the next day. Headed out of Shilshole at about 11:00 Sunday morning and had a beautiful trip to Foss Harbor Marina in Tacoma arriving at a little after 3:00. Uneventful trip except for a leaky water pump, which is now my new project........I was nervous and overwhelmed but it was a very "easy" trip after peering over charts and making plans and studying. I feel like I could power to Hawaii now. I used to be freaked out yanking around my 40' fifth wheel RV, and now its second nature. Last year I pulled it coast to coast on a 10,000 mile trip....so now that I have a boat look out.....the adventure begins....I think Alaska is next.......woohoo!!

If you do get up to Alaska Look me up. Unless you are just refering to southeast. As I live In Whittier.
