My wife Nancy and I are joining the trawler community with our purchase last fall of a Monk 36. Plan on the Trent Severn water way this year and the Rideau Canal System before heading to Florida this fall.

I have done both trips with my 38 Ocean Alexander trawler and my 36 Jeaneau sailboat I enjoyed both boats and trips

David, congrats on your purchase and on your planned trips. Enjoy the forum it's great entertainment. When you get near Lake Simcoe let us know. We are in the Beavertown Yacht club which is just a few minutes south of where the Trent enters Simcoe. Maybe we can hook up. Cheers
