A Big Thank You From Trawler Beach House

It was great to see some of the folks from TF during the Miami Boat Show. It's nice to put a face to the names. But we really want to thank Parks (Hop Car) for making a door to door delivery when we needed some anchor chain and a couple of other things.

But we especially wanted to say thanks to Larry (Healhustler) and his lovely wife Ava for their kindness and hospitality toward a couple of strangers waiting for a good weather window. Well, we're not too strange. We have been concerned that this kind of spirit toward other boaters was getting lost in the next generation, but it appears it's alive and well. Thanks again everyone. Nice of you to say that, Chuck. Our hospitality was an even trade for the good advice regarding so many things in our cruising future. Eva and I feel more confident about having some great cruising friends that can help us tow the rhumb line. We're really looking forward to being on your stern when heading north later this year as we begin full time cruising. Meanwhile, good luck in finding that weather window to the Islands, and thank Suzan for her feminine wisdom aboard. Great cook, by the way.
