The only problem I see is how a working man could afford to keep it after the purchase a fella could sell his house that he bought 30 years ago, one that has realized a great deal of appreciation, and probably pay cash for it. Seems like you would need some pretty decent cash flow to hang onto it. The problem is the 50K a year or so (slip fees, insurance, maintainance, usage) that it would cost to keep it at a slip. Y'all probably have a better take on this senaro than myself.
