Do any of you HOU area boaters do the NY's party at the Elks Lodge in Kemah? We've enjoyed JD's band at past boating functions & considering attending this party.

I do pretty much every year. It's a lot of fun, a lot of parrotheads in attendance. I hope I can make it this year, but stuck in New York for now doing disaster recovery work. Highly recommended! You'll have to be a little agressive in meeting people, because most of the crowd knows each other, but they are very friendly once you talk to them. If I'm there, you can look me up and I'll introduce you around.
