Skipperdude has a major point there. Maybe choosing some rough weather traveling would keep you busy enough trying to keep ones balance at the helm. I once did about 1.5 hours of 6ft. chop at our relatively high single helm. I can tell you that after an hour or so, my legs were exhausted from trying to compensate for the motion.
