I spray them down with Heavy duty Simple green...

I spray them down with Heavy duty Simple green (its clearish in color) found in he janitorial aisle of Home Depot. After a few minutes I scrub them down with Comet cleanser.

Repaired using a veneer of cross cut African mahogany laminated on 1/2 inch marine plywood. Couldn’t find marine grade in the grain I wanted. Used an amber color varnish. Good match

For really soft mud I've modified my Danforth anchor to open to 45 degrees. Coping the mud setting of the Fortress anchors. Really sticks.

use Captains marine amber varnish. Thin by 40% on the first coat. Lightly sand with 320 grit and thin by 20%. Afterwards can use full viscosity if not cold outside. Sand lightly between each coat.

Boom mast and arm on a 38 lrc

Do the booms on the 38 and 42 LRC have a rating plate or does the owners manual spell out how much weight can be lifted by these booms? Are they truly meant to be used or are they just decoration.

you also might be able to use a large urethane pulley/roller from a trailer to act as a pully. The urethane will not scratch the boat.
