Agreed. That’s why you need run the system when the tank is <1/4 full and when you are in rough seas. Running a fuel polishing system while at the dock is a WOT.

That’s good! With a modest amount of refinishing, the teak will restore nicely. Teak is quite soft, so avoid excessive/aggressive sanding as it is unnecessary in most instances.
