I have the same set up on my 2003 43 Mainship. Put the C map chart in the lower chart plotter and it will read on the upper radar unit. Mine is all 2003 and everything works great.

My 43 Mainship has the same gauge manufacture. Mine turned out to be the sending unit. I believe your sending unit is threaded in. It should just unscrew.

Look for a number on the fitting. It is a number 6 or 8. A good hose shop can tell from the photo if it is 37 or 45 degree by the cut marks in the nut. A number 6 is 1/4" 8= 3/8" and so on.

Same thing happen to mine in the corners. I cleaned out the area and after it dried, filled with black 4200 to keep out any moisture. Looks very good and will keep out any salt.
