The wireway to the Garmin 4212 on the bridge is tightly packed.
Thinking however, that I may need to run dedicated power and ground to the Garmin.

No longer a real issue. Seal materials are better along with oils and additive packages.

They do meet and exceed original requirements. The 5w however is of little real benefit in most marine environments where temps are very moderate, so a 15-40 is just fine too.
