We have a limited amount of wide, sawn teak veneer* up to 12 inches wide that is sanded to 1/8" thickness. It is old air dried, Burma teak and free of heart center.

There seems to be some misunderstanding about teak.

Yes, plantation teak is different (younger) than naturally grown teak, however naturally grown 'old' teak also comes in many color variations....

I have been using Sikkens Marine and diluting it by 40 % solvent and applying it with a rag on fresh teak;* then repeating 3 more coats (when each coat is dry).

Aye.....the problems with having middlemen in our lives have made new teak decks prohibitive...even for the DIY folks.

Old growth, Burma Teak, 1/4" x 1-7/8" is available if you search for it on...
