Greetings,
Mr. Y. Beautiful vessel but may I ask why, pray tell, after all the work you've done, are you selling her?

Love the boat. Personal reasons require me to change priorities. I was hoping to enjoy time on it this summer but anyone who wants to buy her will want to enjoy this summer on it too.

50hp?
Must be a misprint.
SD 22 ..... CN-4
22hp sounds about right.
CN-4 .. Suspect 4cyl but most 22hp diesels are 3 cylinders.

But I love the boat and most other small trawlers. Had an Albin 25 before my Willard and would kind of like to go back to a 25-26' boat. But the nice big boat motion of our W30 would be hard to leave.

Yar,
Anyone know anything about these boats?

Mr. NW. If you go to the link Mr. Y provided you will see that the engine is 4 cylinder.

Please fact check before posting a dispute. SD22 is a 2.2L 4 cylinder engine. 68hp in industrial applications and 50(48) horsepower in marine. Thanks.

I've worked in Willards. I like em.

Way back in the day when we were looking at small trawlers we checked out a Yar, hull #1 as I recall. Beautiful, very salty and rock solid. For reasons more related to the seller than the boat we opted out and purchased an Albin 25.

But I really did like the Yar. This one would be an excellent candidate I think for anyone looking in that size range; very nicely redone - the cockpit hardtop especially.

Yar,
OK I shouldn't have mentioned it.
What does SD-22 stand for?
No dispute .. just wondered what reality was.
Sounds very overpowered but these are pleasure boats and many people like them that way.
Who marineized the Nissan?

Straight-Four Diesel 2.2 Liter
Marinized by Chrysler.
Very common in industrial applications.

OK good ..probably a 4cyl version of the 6cyl Nissan found in many Albin 27's.

So that is what I was ogling last summer. We apparently were on the same schedule as you coming out of Gibsons after the August long weekend. Saw you in a number of spots in August. I spent a fair bit of time on the dock at Lund looking the boat over. I think I might have seen you in Powell River as well. Good luck with the sale.

Okay that is funny. Now that I look at your ad I am pretty sure my Tollycraft is in the background of picture number 6 when you were in Lund. Small world.
