WTB: Xantrex Link 1000 or 2000

I'd like to buy a Link 1000 or 2000 interface to replace the 1000 that I have which seems to blink random numbers and flashes erratically.

I'll be connecting it to a Freedom 25

Anyone have a working model lying around?

Thanks

Richard

Ah, the wonderful world of Xantrex! Went through a couple of years of Link 1000 erratic behavior. Replaced a couple of units with "new" ones after searching high and low for them. Hen's teeth. Didn't work. Finally my electrician found two properly functioning ones. One went into our boat two years ago and has been working well. The other is being held by the electrician so that he can make me pay with my first born when I need it. Good luck finding one.

Well, thanks for those encouraging words - pah!

I guess if something is both unreliable and out of production then finding a working one will be a challenge. Oh well...

Thanks - I did a couple of searches and looked at Classifieds but couldn't see it. Could you PM me a link?

Thanks so much

Great, thanks. The more the merrier! At this point I would probably buy both to have a spare.

Thanks for looking - much appreciated. It looks like TwistedTree has found a hen's tooth - so I'm in luck! However, if anyone else has another one I'm still interested - at this point I can't have too many spares!

The hen's tooth arrived and is installed and working - thanks twistedtree!

There's also a hen's tooth 2000 on the way - so I'll have a spare.

Thanks all

Richard
