    For Sale ads MUST include:

    • A Basic Description
    • Clear statement whether you are the owner or non-owner (posting for friend, relative, or acquaintance)
    • Don't forget to select: FOR SALE, WANTED or FREE in the Title block.
    All ads should also include ALL the following:
    • Pertinent maintenance and condition information
    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
    For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. When your item has sold or the ad is no longer relevant: Please post a Reply to the ad that the item is SOLD or click "Report Post" on post 1 of the thread to ask a moderator to archive the ad.     Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or �feels� wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers �agents� and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.

    Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:

    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

Could you send me some pics of her? Is that a canoe stern I see? Tell me more. We keep ours in Deltaville where do you keep her?

Daddy, Yes it does have a round stern. I keep her at Colonial Harbor in Lanexa Va just west of Williamsburg. My boat partner acquired her in 2001, he passed away 2 years ago. The only major trip shes been on is the trip up from the west coast of FL to Richmond Va. Built in 1972 with a singleV8-510 perkins which ended its life in 1999 with a loose drain plug. At that time a 6068 John Deere was installed and had only 37 hrs on it when we left FL and still has only 400+- hrs. Doesn't have a bow thruster and so far haven't needed on. Control station on the back upper deck is a silent, the only thing you hear is the water, place to run the boat. The orginal owner had it custom built and lived on it on the Tenn Tom. Second owner lived on it in Boston Harbor until he retired and moved to Fl. As the third and present owners we have been trying to repace a few of the tired systems. Hot water tank, holding tank, old window rubbers and glass, and a few pieces of tired metal. Vinnett builds a stout hull but over the years I've found a few supprises, like metal scrap left over in the builge under the 50 gallon stainless steel holding tank. Caused a rust pocket and ended of replacing a section of hull plate, oct 08 rail visit. I plan on replacing a little more plate on rail this fall after I give up my full time job for part time semi retirement. It still has the orginal 7KW kohler generator with who knows how many hrs on it. The remote start stop circuit on it gave up the ghost last year and parts are none existant. It now has an on/off switch in the pilot house and a start button in the engine room and still runs like a top. It also has an old Woodfreeman auto pilot which isn't working. I hope to find something simple wrong with it and get it going again.

The one thing I like about her is the look. Nordy's have nothing on me and I'm about $1.5 Mil less than they are and have just as much fun. Our trip up the intercoastal winter Xmas/New Years of 2000/2001 was fun and 13 days of busy fun for all of us. First trip for me fouth for him. I want to do it again one of these days but in the warm of summer. Anyway to make a long story shorter she's a jewel and you don't see them very often. She can still turn heads where ever she goes at her age.
