WTB Shakespeare 390 SSB ANTENNA

Looking for one of these in good used condition so I can get my HAM station set up on the boat. I'd take a new one if good price. Admiral has me on a budget.

Would prefer someone close to Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. They tend to get busted up in shipment. I can come get it.

Thanks!

George+

Thanks!

For folks with real SSB intentions I have a WWII lifeboat antenna.

These colapse like a car antenna , cant remember , about 6 sections 5 ft or so long.

Each pulls out of the fatter one and twist locks in place.

Could go up 25+ ft to tune a specific frequency.

all made in MONEL!

Sticks up about a foot when stowed .5+ ft required belolw.

Always thought it would go to a WWII museum , but if someone is going to use it ,,,,PM.

That sounds like a cool antenna. And, since length is adjustable probably no tuner needed!

In theory no tuner would be needed , but I never tried.

Never mounted the monel beauty.

Our SSB is for weather fax printer , and news (VOA BBC) when in Bahamas .
