Easy peasy my lazy friend. Boat Trader, Willard 40" in Panama City, $39K.
Interesting boat. Built for the Navy, built like a rock.

Our own FF here on the Trawler Forum was looking at selling his a while back, but I don’t think it’s a Willard, but pretty sure it’s a 50 ft ex Navy launch .

There was a 50’ Willard in Demopolis a good few months ago. Couple had brought it from Alaska and hung out for about a year I guess. Talked to them and they were talking about selling. Sorry I have no more details and I’m on the Fl East Coast now. Anybody else in the area know that boat? It wasn’t listed when I talked with owners.

Both Willard and Uniflite used the same USN molds , and the same one day layup requirement and the same FR resin.
"Boats and Harbors" usually has a few listed , although I have (I think a customer) for ours , a 50 ftUtility it is $29,900 and located in Fl in Ortona. 6-71 and twin disc.
The customer is patiently waiting till mod Nov when we return to FL .
PM if interested , I would love LUCY to be in a bidding war.

There’s one in my slip, but it’s not for sale!
There is a 40’ for sale in our harbor, and a 50’ in Honolulu, but that’s in Hawaii.
Google DRMO Auctions, the navy doesn’t like to keep “old” boats, mine is a ‘94 with a sweet Cummins B motor.

Sorry , it is already converted but nothing a day with a sawzall wouldn't cure.
No one wants to run the ICW or loop in an open boat.
All the ports , hoist ,hatches ranges ,hyd windlass , auto pilot , toilet etc could be reused in your build
The aft cockpit is about 15 ft and full width as the boat was used for lobstering as well as lobster supply work.
Perhaps the enclosed US Navy plan will be a help.

Willard
There used to be several Willard launches, double enders like liberty boats, in Syringa, VA on Rt 624. I had an idea that one would be fun to knock about in, and eventually found the the USS Willard Assn website. You might give that a try.

The double enders are stout , but usually 25- 26 ft long.
Advertising is cheap, put a WANTED! add in B&H.

That’s no joke, I had to run mine from Lahaina to Honolulu, which includes two nasty channels that are often worse than open ocean conditions, in totally stock trim without any kind of shelter. It was pretty brutal!

But beautiful waters. I used to sail out of Lahaina with one of the Hotel GMs who has his boat there. Laid his ashes to rest over his Old mooring off kaanapali as well
