Willard 36' Pilothouse Trawler

Hi - I just bought her this winter.* She's in Seattle but I have to remain in Los Angeles.* I have used her as a liveaboard for a couple months comfortably, and single handed her (I am a newbie at boats bigger than can fit on a trailer), around the Puget Sound and really really love this vessel.

My temporary dream loss is someone elses gain.* I am pricing her to sell.* She is very sound, very very seaworthy and with some cosmetic attention and basic DIY, is a very unique and salty vessel.

Here is a link to some pics.* http://willardvega36pilothouse.shutterfly.com/

thanks,

David (mototrionic@gmail.com)

I think the same. Actually, I was sharing photos of this vessel when you bought it, and I find it almost irresistible. I'm glad it's no where near Miami, but what a darling. Sorry you're having to move out of it, but I don't doubt that it will find a good home.

Glad she is not on the East Coast,* I might have become a two boat owner!

Only 45 minutes up I-5 from me...how the heck could I possibly justify being a 2 boat owner considering I'm in the final stages of restoring a CHB Ponderosa 42 I rescued almost 1 year to the day?

I've been lusting after that boat since I was in Friday harbor in 2009 and saw her anchored in the harbor and had already purchased the Ponderosa when she came up for sale last year.

Looks surprisingly similar to my friend's boat which is a 46 ft (Durabek I think).

Shown here at Block Island
