There are local boat magazines that specialize in the Great Lakes and southern Canada.

Saw lots of them running the loop. Simply ask a broker in that area.

They should have what you want , although it is more likely you will find a gas motor cruiser than shaped as a "trawler".

The gasser will be faster , use a bit more fuel per mile , and be way cheaper to maintain.

IF cost is a concern, here is a concept.

Large gas motor yachts are loved in the lakes , so they will have good value being SOLD there.

Many folks retire to FL , and other southern areas , where gasoline is less preferred.

Boats are 30% to 50% less valuable in FL , a boat that is less preferred will be the least loved.

Florida Mariner is a reasonable to advertise in magazine , with adds on line.

IF you don't find what you are looking for , it might be worth placing a wanted add and see what comes up.

The ride from MIA to Buffalo will be 1500 miles , or so, but on arrival the boat will be in far better shape , than one that just sat.

Happily the ICW is mostly protected enough that having a plaining or SD hull at displacement speeds will not be a bother.

And unlike Diesels gas is fairly efficient at 10% or 20% of rated power. So fuel use will be fine at 6K- 7K

Hi What kind of money are you prepared to pay? They vary considerably in price. There are a few fresh water trawlers on Lake Ontario that might be of interest to you
