I've got an extra VHF radio I'm not using. If you can use it, make me an offer

It sure ain't new

It was on the boat when I got her. The boat's a 1976 but I don't think its original. I had a newer one so I changed it out.

Huh, introduced in 1987.

I would have pegged it a lot earlier, like Brady Bunch vintage 70's. I see they go for around $40 on eBay. Breaker 1-9, this is the Rubber Duck!

It does work. Not sure how many channels. According to the ad on page 72 of the magazine posted by menzies, it's 80 channels but, I'd have to check.

Hey, it may be old but it's better than nothing if you don't have one or, maybe someone could use it for parts. That's why I said, "make me an offer".

No problem. I know it's all in good fun. No offense taken. Actually, I got a chuckle from it.

I'd rather make an offer on the Russian girl in RT's post.

Pretty funny. I was thinking I would put in my garage just to listen and for weather. I have an old ant.

My grand father had one of those radios. It came with a hand held signaling mirror.
