Under 40 liveaboard needed

USA non-profit missionary couple with extensive boat experience requires boat for missionary work. We have used a variety of boats in the past and sold our last due to security issues with our work. Doors have opened for us to use a small liveaboard. Must be diesel, under 40 feet, on the Gulf or East Coast, we are located in Florida. Our budget limits us to 20,000.
Is there anything available ?

$20k? That's gonna be tough. I'm afraid you won't be able to get anything decent over 32 feet for that. It'll be hard to find something seaworthy. Does the boat need to move?

Thanks for your reply. It does need to move, sorry to say. I realize it will be tough. I don't mind working on it, in fact I know I will.
I believe in miracles, I guess we need one now.

If your mission is a legal tax-free donation, then maybe you have a chance of finding something with owner's needing a write-off.
