My reaction also, Tom. The narrative on the pics indicates it was last sold in 2009, so I guess it's a boat the current owner was quickly disenchanted with.

*Didn't you see the picture of the the pilot house? The starboard forward corner was almost clearly visible, behind the captain. On a positive note there where plenty of useless background shots of tules, bottom lawns and party guests.

I flew to FLL last February to look at this boat. I took lots of photos.

The character of this yacht is still there, but everyone I spoke with about it valued it around $40k.

At a reasonable price it would be a project worth taking on.

Remember it's wooden!

Usually these get donated to some maritime museum because they are the only ones that can afford to restore them with donated money and donated labor.

While not of the same magnitude as this one, we sold our 1939 39' woody (twice) to private parties at a price of more than we paid for her 22 years before.
