Trawler wanted

Looking for a 35'-42' trawler. Aware of all on YW. Galley up, twin diesel's, walkaround queen. Fiberglass of course. Budget under $100k. In Florida but willing to travel to boats on the loop. Buying now, doing the loop in 2021.

Thanks

Are you pretty handy and a DIYer because that twin engine boat under 100K I suspect will need your skills. Otherwise, the boat you get under 100K will end up costing a bit more to get it loop-ready. Just my humble opinion.

trawlwer wanted

Had not really thought about selling until I saw your note. Have 45' HWA Taiwan built Europa style, twin Lehmans 120 HP. Located Florida/Bahamas. Needs TLC on brightwork but otherwise good. Interested?

Mike

We owned a 38' United Ocean a few years ago, wish we had not sold her. There are boats out there, just looking to expand my search. Thanks

Why do you think it's for sale. It would work!
Thanks, Roy

I know the owners. I just contacted him and asked for the latest. He just replied that he has people coming to do a trial next Monday. I'll let you know if it doesn't close.

Thanks. Would work perfect, except need a queen walkaround. Any idea on costs to move tanks and redo into a queen?

No clue, but I'm not positive that the tanks are under the separate twin beds.

I'm having my stateroom totally reconfigured including moving head. Cost is $6500 plus materials in Mexico. Probably 3x in US. Don't forget cost of custom mattress.

Pic is of the vee berth mocked up to give an idea of extent of change. Head used to be in forepeak. Vee berth will replace and head goes where small double pulman bunk was.

Thanks, I'll do some research on what is under the twin beds. I believe they put queens in the later models. If you see anything else, please fwd!

Look in Florida Mariner , free sales rag, and online, many low cost boats that need TLC , that brokers avoid/hate because of low price.

You can also check Facebook Market Place and some Facebook trawler/boat specific sales groups. Below is a 1983 Gulfstar 38 that just popped up yesterday (Not Mine!).
