Sorry you had to make that decision Wmiii. They are a very nice boat, we were anchored next to one yesterday. I wish you well with the sale.
Actually, Bruce, if money was no real object, (like I won Lotto or something), that was/would have been, my next boat, that Clipper 40. I think for a couple, it's still about as big for most needs and places as you would want to go. I'm sure the OP will have no trouble selling.
PS. Selling can be a real bummer. Saturday we went out for what may well be our last overnight sortee in Lotus, only to find some boat tyre-kicker has left the fridge, which we usually leave on with drinks etc in it, with the door ajar, and from running for over a week continuously, trying to get the temp down, the seals have been cooked, and it would not cool at all. A large ice block got it down to 9ºC but we decided to come in yesterday instead of later today as a result.
I'm hoping the broker has insurance for that, not excluded in their fine print, that is. I don't want to hear, "we take all care, but no responsibility" back at me.
Keep you posted.
So be alert re those issues Wmiii.
