Honestly, I didn't even recall their existence until this thread. Not looking to buy or sell so didn't go there. That's how the forum is set up and why categories are used. You can read what interests you and avoid that which doesn't.

What on earth is going on here? There is no bar on stickystuff`s advert. Sure a lot of people who advertise items are long term TF users, but that`s no reason to deprive long term TF users of the opportunity to buy useful boat related items offered by a newbie.

Diver you're implying it's nothing. But your'e here .... Why???

Lots of others have contributed to this thread constructively but you're kinda barg'in in like a green cop say'in ? "break it up" "move on" ......

I don't understand why it seems to bother many here if others are talk'in bout something they aren't interested in. Yet these people not only hang on to the thread but tell others when it's time to stop talk'in about a subject.

I'm baffled .....

As to the classified section I'm surprised it even exists as wer'e scattered all around the world and almost half of us are 2500mi + apart from the other half even in the same country. I almost never looked at classified when we lived in Alaska for obvious reasons and that's basically the case now. I wonder how many things sell off the classified section? I do support the classified section and would like to see a business section for brokers, boat canvas and other services. But I still don't like the business stuff in the general posts.

We're happy that folks like stickystuff find the classified section useful and trust they will quickly find the rest of Trawler Forum equally helpful.

Come for the ad....stay for the advice. It's a win-win, IMO.

yes... i am implying i believe the problem is nothing, just as your implying the problem is something... didnt say your wrong, infact i stated it was "my opinion"...

Saying its not a problem in my opinion is just as constructive as saying it IS a problem as you are saying... just cuz someone doesnt agree with you doesnt mean its not constructive...

Sometimes people check in to see if the conversation has turned to something they ARE interested in. The fact that I chimed in means that I AM interested and indeed like the classified and prefere they stay the way they are... hence my opinion that its NOT a problem....
