Silverton AFT cabin

1982 SIlverton 40 Aft Cabin,
46000 us
Twin diesel Perkins, engines full maintenance 350 hrs since rebuild.
Volvo diesel generator.
2 aluminium fuel tanks - 150 gallons each.
100 fresh water, 50 waste
new vaccu flush toilet, newer fridge, canvas in good shape ( 3yrs),
2016 - decks redone by professional marina Bottom epoxy, canvas all.
We drove this Silverton from Georgian Bay to Cayman Ilsands (yes 72 locks and the ICW). at 8.5 knots.
From Havana to Georgetown 2/3 tank used at that speed. more than 700 mile range. At 10 miles /hr 2 gal/hr/motor. New AC pump, new diesel generator fuel pump.
great live aboard.
Currently in Cayman with duty paid.
we would like to sell here. but would help drive back to States if required.
descent electronics, new depth gauge, raymarine chart.
Great boat, selling as plans to move to bigger boat this fall.
would consider trade if in Canada or US. Jeep wrangler.

I looked at this boat (though not thoroughly) when it was for sale here in Ontario prior to purchase by Tsi-Guy. I thought it was a nice boat, well upgraded and diesels are especially rare in this model of Silverton. Definitely worth a look if you are interested.

Thanks, it is a great boat. Once sold we are doing the same type of trip, but on the Med.

Owned one of these for 14 years, with the Crusaders.

Great boat and very stable. Spent many a trip to the Abacos and 20+ per year weekends on her with the children.
