Sailrite LZ1 sewing machine

Like new Sailrite LZ1 sewing machine with a bunch of extras . I bought this machine about 5 years ago and have only used it maybe three times . I thought I would learn how to sew but that ain't happening . With all the extras it's about a $1,200.00 machine new . Sell for $750.00 .

We have a Sailrite machine (Maybe an LZ2?) they are actually good machines!
Easy to work on and the company is great when you need advice.
Ours got out of time and after watching a video they provided a link to, making the adjustment at home was a snap!
Someone's going to get a nice machine...
Bruce

These are good machines...I've had the straight stitch version for 10+ yrs and have done many boat & RV items as a part time hobby business.
See the DIY canvas tips thread if ypu are just getting started or interested in starting to sew canvas

You hardly ever ever ever see these machines come up on the used market. When you do, they are nearly priced as new. If you want it, get it ASAP!

Marty, I would have bought this in a heart beat if it would have been available 2 months ago. The monster wheel and swing away 1" binder are worth $150 just by themselves. I paid for my LSZ-1 machine with my first sewing project. My second project was icing on the cake. Sewing is tedious but not hard to learn.

Someone will snatch it up. It's well worth the asking price!

Binding attachment and monster wheel are both "must haves"...IMHO

This is a great package for someone...
No connection to seller... I'm just another satisfied LS-1 owner & user.

This might make for a busy winter and a messy basement.

I haven't sewn anything since grade 8 home economics class.

Pretty sure I made some festive holiday placements that were sort of rectangularish.

I'm really stretching myself here...

You will find plenty of things to do with it this winter. My next projects are a set of Chaps for our new Flexboat LX-12. Also an outboard cover. So far have made a set of fly bridge cushions and a front windshield cover.

There are lots of videos on YouTube for educating yourself again. I'd bet all those 8th grade home economics skills will come quickly back!

Me: "Hey honey, I think I'm going to make some chaps this winter."

Mrs. Spy: "Some WHAT!?! You are NOT a cowboy. Do you have something you want to tell me?"
