Roll Fin Stabilizers, Wesmar

Hi there, due to a change in boat projects, we are selling a pair of "BRAND NEW," as in, still in the box, Wesmar, RS-600, roll fin stabilizers. The whole kit includes the fins, Hyd reservoir, Hyd pump, control head, remote head, cylinders, everything that normally comes with the package. This kit specifically comes with an electric driven hydraulic pump (not engine driven). Normal retail price on these fins is $33,000. We are selling them at $22,500. Reason for the low price is to move them quickly to continue on our new project, a lovely 59' tug that we would like to convert to a live aboard. Hope to hear from you soon.

Here is a quick list of the components that come with the kit. I will have to dig the components out of the box to tell you any exact details, serial or model numbers off of the individual components. But the most of these things is that they are their own independent and self contained system. The fins specifically are the RS-600 fins which are 6 sq ft. Ideal for a cruiser of 50' doing about 8-12kts

If you want the exact details of the electronic components, let me know and I will call who I bought them from, Yacht Equipment and Parts, and get some answers.

(A) Fin with Actuator
(B) Electronic Gyro
(C) Control Console
(D) electric driven Hydraulic Pump
(E) Hydraulic Manifold
(F) Hull Blocks (we had started to shape one of the two when we changed plans). Both are still included. Blocks can be purchases individually.
(G) Remote Station
(H) Driver Card & Cables

Ok, just called Yacht Equipment and Parts and he tells me that I have the CPS 1000 electronic gyro, not the DSP4800.
They also said that I should tell you that this equipment is compatible with a future upgrade if you so desire. Meaning, if you wanted to upgrade to a DSP4800 gyro later, you could on this system. This is also true for the fins, if you ever wanted to go up or down one size in the future.

For what it may be worth, I have the RS-900's, without the upgrade, on my boat (60' LWL, about 100,000 pound displacement) and they work amazingly well. But, in fairness, I don't have much basis for comparison, other than to say that on our YC cruises in snotty weather on the beam, we are really fine while others complain / turn back / wait for better weather.

Thanks for the support guys. I wish I could just keep them and put them on my new boat but the shape just isn't right. While it is a displacement hull, the correct placement on the hull would either have them sticking out wayyyy past the sides or straight down, like adding two new rudders.

I had a boiler shipped out to me from Washington last year. Comparable size and weight. That was about $600 for shipping.
