Raytheon 2600 radar

I have removed my old model 2600 radar and replaced it with a new Furuno 1834C unit. The 2600 still works well. It is the old viewing tube style in good condition. The rubber is still supple, the picture is as good as they ever were. It is an enclosed dome array which is clean and dry inside. I have the original 3 ring binder of instructions, and the plasticized helm card as well as the clothlike cover with Raytheon printed on it.

I would imagine no one would want to install it on their boat, but someone might want to have spare pieces for one they have. Yours for the price of shipping or pick up if you are near Pt. Orchard WA.

RE: Raytheon 2600 radar

Hi Ted,

Do you still have this unit?* You say no one would want to put it into their boat, is that just because of the age?

My (very) old unit crapped out a few years back, no biggie since I hardly ever used it.* Wouldn't mind having something for emergencies though.

Thanks,
Doug

It is still sitting in the overhead of the boathouse. I'm not sure if it's worth the postage to send it to you. It does work just fine, but it's the old style with a hood that you have to look thru, so it's not as user friendly as a regular screen type is.

OK, thanks for getting back to me.* Older than I thought.

Raytheon 2600

I know this is an old post but I would like to know if you still have the 2600. I have the same unit and it quit. Don't want to do all the work to take it out with all the umbelical chord, etc. Was hoping to acquire your unit.

Thanks,

Bill
