Only because we are not able to afford two boats and we would like to explore the PNW. After 5 years of beaches and sunshine, we are ready for something new. ( I think )

We left Galapagos back in February for Easter Island...800 miles south we got water in the fuel ( crappy Ecuadorian diesel ) and the injector pump went out on the John Deere. Needless to say...It was a long sail back to Mexico for repairs...39 days.

So there is also a brand new injector pump, injectors and "water in fuel" alarm.

Turn Key Vagabond 47 - Trade for Trawler

A literal "dreamboat"... Very nice.

This poem is fitting IMO:

Aspirations are dreams which are still in the making
nothing unreal not massaged or faking
truth to be told in the years that fly by
a vision in the mist holding in your minds eye
what's been and gone has left one alone
memories to hold with others to be thrown
cast away as autumnal leaves
which crumble to dust then vanish on the breeze
the window is open so take in the view
look to the future and starting anew
nothing is impossible as hope is retrieved
oceans can be crossed and dreams be believed

We do as well love Bill Garden's work. Our next trip up the East Coast a prime place we must go is Mystic Seaport and see the William Garden Collection.

William Garden

I should note too that the set up of the Garden collection there was accompanied by a very sizable donation from Orin Edson (Bayliner, Pacific Mariner, Westport) who was probably his biggest fan. Of course many of the plans also came from Edson who had saved them.
