Old Marine Trader "Dolphin" Swim Platform supports

I am in the process of rebuilding my boarding platform, which took a serious hit from Irene last fall. I had to remove the old swim platform brackets, but they may be of some use to old MT owners looking for repair parts. Nice bronze patina. One's complete, two others have the extension bracket broken but might be repairable if you want to match some on your boat.

I am not looking to make any $$ here, so anyone who wants to cover shipping costs can have them.

Bronze supports can be melted down and you can make other good stuff with the bronze. I built a new boarding ladder, and used one of my old bronze swimgrid supports to make the hooks from which it hangs: see below. I have saved the other 4 for a cannon, but haven't got around to getting the mold made just yet.

Dolphins are committed and will be shipped this week. Thanks to those of you who were interested. I scored some nice brand-new s/s brackets on ebay for $40 apiece, but they don't have that 40-year old patina the old ones had. If I'd had a little more to work with maybe I could've restored them, but that's a project for another guy.

Yesterday's before-and-after; bottom job still to go:
