Question is, how original do you want to keep it. Are you using the same brackets and mount? Do you have the old rigging?

I went to a sail-maker here in Stuart, FL, and bought a 4 X 7" X 15' mast for 125 bucks, pretty much the value of scrap, and made my own.

Run a Craigslist ad in the wanted section. I was amazed when 3 weeks later someone had an exact match for my ODay 20 complete with boom and standing rigging for $100.

For a trawler almost any broken mast will do for a handyman with a hacksaw.

I have a solid wood mast off of my 50 trawler if you are interested. I think I still have all of the fittings, boom, gooseneck, etc. It is a tapered mast and boom, trawler lookin. Free, but shipping may be prohibitive.

16FT boom

Larry, Wish we could do that breakfast and exchange info cause I have a 16foot boom that would have been perfect for your Manatee.
