Looking for a replacement rocker cover Ford Lehman D 4 354 four cylinder

I contacted American Diesel who is the go-to for Ford Lehmans, but they advise me rocker covers for a D 4 254 engine are no longer in production and not available from them.
Any ideas where I might find a replacement rocker cover?

Welcome aboard. Did you try Bomac Marine? They are another source for Lehman parts. You may have to look at marine recyclers. The 4 cylinder engine parts are probably in much less supply than the 6 cylinder engines. Good luck.

Greetings,
Mr. r. Welcome aboard. Try a Ford tractor dealer. Most if not all marine diesels have landlubber parents.

Not familiar with a "D4 354" from Ford. Can you elaborate? A pic?

Perkins makes a 6-354. Could that be it?

No Ski.
The 4 indicates the number of cylinders. 254 signifies the piston displacement.
Standard Ford Lehman nomenclature.
Thanks for your interest.

As mentioned, Bomac. The 80hp and 90hp covers should be identical except for the chrome plating on the 90.

Harbor Marine in Everett, WA might have a Ford 4 to scavenge parts from. They lost their Lehman mechanic and no longer remanufacture engines.

harbormarine.net. or 425 259-3285 - Transmission Dept. - Mike Vogel. Mike runs the trasmission dept.

Mike used to work at Doc. Freemans with Norm Dribble, local Lehman and marine transmission guru, so very knowledgeable about Lehman and marine transmissions. And a lot friendlier and less grumpy than Norm was. I recently purchased a used injection pipe set at a very reasonable price from Mike who took it off a "core" engine.

Not as prevalent as the 6 cyl. but Mike should have a 4 cyl. laying around.
