Krogen 42 Classic

After 17 fulfilling years, it’s finally time to sell Dovekie. Although we haven’t posted much on this forum, especially of late, we’ve owned and enjoyed our KK42 (Hull 70), Dovekie, for all these years. Like most of you, we’ve never wanted another boat and she has faithfully and safely taken us on our extensive travels to many remote places.

We’ve decided to list our boat “Sale By Owner” so as to save the commission and pass on those savings to a potential buyer. If anyone knows anyone interested in an exceptionally well-maintained and improved KK42, please have them contact us. She is located in Ft Pierce FL.

To facilitate interested buyers, we now have a website up and running: Dovekie 42' Kadey-Krogan - For Sale with Dovekie’s particulars and additional photos.

Post Kk 42

People are always asking - know of a good boat about 42 feet long or so ?

This looks like the one.

If there is some one out there that wants a well built 42 foot sized trawler that is a true full displacement vessel & has true ocean crossing abilities - this is the one.

I can vouch for the design & sea keeping performance personally.

I also own a Kadey-Krogen 42 & we love ours.

I have never seen this one in person, don't know the seller or anything like that & would always have a survey done, but I would recommend if your a serious buyer to look at this one closely as she looks very good to me.

This one is worth the time to go check it out in detail -I think. Well equipped with the right " Stuff" - replacement would be well over asking price.

Good luck with the sale.
