RE: Island Gypsy 32' Europa
All I can say is WOW! I love this boat you have it rigged wonderfully. You should PM all those people in the Gen. Discussion threads who are 1st time boat shoppers as this sounds like an excellent option. You may want to put a price to help pull in the interested folks and cull the lookey-loos.

I agree......it's a sweetheart of an IG. If I could afford two boats, I'd just keep her right where she is and commute from time to time.

I just brought this boat back from the Bahamas
Hi, I'm new here. I just brought this boat to SW Florida from Green Turtle Cay Abacos. It literally is an 18 year old brand new boat that has been nowhere.
The owners live in France and I am going to assist them in finding a new owner. They are looking to go back to sailing for their cruising fix. I was very impressed with the boat and asked for the selling price as I was considering converting from sail. Unfortunately she is a bit out of my price range.
The initial offering is $74,500. The power plant is still new. She needs some cosmetics like cetol on the teak rails and there is a little bit of water damage to the wood in the forward berth starboard. Otherwise I think she's a steal.
I'm not a broker but I am a USCG 100 ton Master and a mechanic Lorne Sullivan Yacht Works for more info on me. She can be found on Boat Trader here.
Used 1994 Island Gypsy Europa, Cape Coral FL - 338273 - BoatTrader.com
I'll be baby sitting her till she sells so feel free to post questions or suggest this craft to a friend.
Thanks

At first glance she looks nice and priced quite reasonably.

This boat is just down the canal from me and all I can say about it is WOW! I took the dinghy for a spin this weekend (had to clean the carb) and puttered by it. I can't speak to the damage inside but she sparkles on the exterior.

Is this boat still available? Can you post any pics that show the stateroom and a better view go the full galley and head?

Congratulations and Welcome traveller.
I`ve always been amazed by the living space of IG32s, as good or better than 36s.

And I've always liked the lines of the 36. The 32 is a bit too tall for her length but the 36 seems just right.
