Furuno 1932/ open array radar system- complete

Hi, all- we just closed on out trawler, and the upgrades begin

The radar is as described in the title; Model 1932 CRT radar with the 4KW 48 NM open array antenna. Material condition of the display is excellent (its installed in the salon), and the array is in good condition cosmetically, excellent condition electronically. The system will include the display, open array and pedestal, cabling, and manuals.

Will ship- buyer picks us shipping costs.

The system is still installed on the boat, so anyone interested can come over and check it out. We're in Seattle on Lake Union.

Asking $1900, and open to offers.

Upgrade ? you can't upgrade from that system. Anything else you put in may be more "chic" but will not be as good.

Would you separate the head unit (display). Mine is slightly smoke damaged but I don't know if it works. If you willing to separate or find a buyer that need the array I'll check the display to see if it works. Confused yet? Thanks Paul

It's a good greenscreen CRT radar but the newer units offer a lot more capability I think. We installed a Furuno NavNet VX2 a few years ago and it's great having a potter (C-Map) and a radar in the same unit. I used to think nothing was as good and sharp as a CRT screen but when we got the LCD NavNet I found out I was wrong.

Can't agree. It does work wonderfully and has some great tweakability (I was a radar tech in the Navy, so fiddling with all the controls is second nature to me). I want the overlay feature on the new system.

Price lowered to $1700!

I've begun the uninstallation process, and I don't want parts lying about. Will entertain all reasonable offers!

You can use it as a depth sounder. Drop it in the water and listen for what kind of sound it makes.

It's spoken for, but I'm waiting for the buyer to send the funds....so, yes it is, as cash talks.
