That is the boat I will be looking for in about 6 years.
Are you sure you do not want to hold onto her for a few more years

I really wish I could. We need to spend time on shore and I can't stand the thoughts of not being able to take care of her.

There are a lot of boats to pick from and not everyone needs a Defever CPMY. When you get ready for a boat you need to understand how you will be using it, then buy the boat that will best suit your needs.

For a full time live aboard coastal cruiser the Defever CPMY is hard to beat.

While traveling south this fall, had the good fortune to cruise with Shay and Escape for a few days. It looked to be an extremely well maintained Defever with numerous upgrades. Shay and I talked for the better part of 6 hours (not on VHF 16) one day about the cruising he has done with the boat, and what improvements he has made. If you're interested in a serious turnkey cruising vessel, you need to see this boat and all the extended cruising features. Visualize sitting on the hook for 2 months without having to run the generator. If I remember correctly, that included refrigeration, hot water and cooking on an electric stove, all from the solar panels and a very healthy battery bank.

If you're going to be in the market, buy this boat now and save your refit time and money.

Looks like a very well maintained and equipped boat. If I didn’t already have a DeFever I would definitely take a look. Great find for some lucky person.
