Eagle 32 Exhaust

Does anyone have experience re-fitting the stock exhaust on an Eagle 32? I am in the process of doing a total re-fit on the boat, everything, Electrical, plumbing, bottom blistering, bad carpentry correction etc. The one vexing piece is the exhaust that exits from the mixing elbow and goes ninety deg to port, a couple of bends and heads straight to the transom. All this is at or slightly below the waterline. Any assistance with some design or leads to someone who has tackled this would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry I can't help you with your question.

BTW, a post in all bold is really annoying, kind of like all caps.

You might want to read Tony Athens articles on proper exhaust geometry. This can be done at the Boat Diesel site or the Seabaord marine site under Tony's tips. If you have the room and want to do it right a custom high rise is a good way to go.

SK, our boat has a custom exhaust made by a fellow that has made numerous custom exhausts, especially for FL engines. Sorry, I am not able to be helpful.
