Drop-in electrical system...

Drop-in electrical system from Merlin, model 400, its designed for alternator, shore power, solar panels, shaft generator and wind generators. The system supports charging of 3 battery banks, say house, start and thruster batteries.

It includes design papers, boxes, fuses, 2 x shunts (all fuses, busbars etc are from Blue Sea), 2 x Smartbank split chargers, relays (really high quality), disconnect switches, battery parallel connection push botton panel and other items - Instal the boxes, add the connections from the charging sources and the batteries - and you should be up and running.

This is a system that was never installed.....new price + 2000 US$...selling for 1000 incl shipping.

Many pictures available.

I have the system here in Hong Kong, so the shipping is from here. Shipment is not a problem, I send stuff around the world often through my company.

Swampu: If you decide for this system, please keep us informed about your progress with it. This is something that many of us may consider in the life span of a boat, ....especially those with many owners (you know what I mean).
