Diesel Duck 44 for Sale
Destiny is regrettably up for sale. We've had 7 great years with her, now it's time to find her a good new home.
At the time of writing, we are still cruising (currently in Sicily). Destiny, has all of the equipment and plenty of spares and has been well cared for over the years. She's also uniquely Tax paid and imported into the EU.
For all of the info check out Destiny Website – Diary or Contact us direct at lesbirds@msn dot com.

Very ineresting!
A few questions
1. Has there been a recent bottom job?
2. What is your asking price and in what currency?
3. What is the country of registry?
Thanks

Beware the seller who afraid to publicly post his prices or vessel details.

Sometimes there are reasons why the price is not published, notably exchange rates and their fluctuations and also we have in some areas employed a broker who have an 'influence' on the price. However, just for you, we are asking €295,000, which is about $320,000 and something different in pounds, roubles and yen.
Would you like to make an offer? Preferable above the figure I have just quoted.

We carry 1200 Gals of fuel, we consume typically 1.5 - 1.8 Gals/hr at 7 knots so 1200/1.6 x 7 gives 5000+ NM of range. Conservatively, with generator use and a safety margin call it 4000+ NM range.
She is transatlantic capable and has proven it by previously crossing the Indian ocean.
For us, for normal cruising, we top up to about 2/3 tanks and that generally gives us fuel for 2 seasons.

West Coast US is, I'd guess, only one fill up away and she's half full now
As I've mentioned above, She can be shipped or you could enjoy a season in the Mediterranean before driving home.

Think its a bit more than 4,000 miles. Would love to make the trip. Where exactly are you located? What kind of power does she have anyway?

We are currently in Sicily and on our way to haul out in Malta at the end of the month, for the winter. It's a good place for maintenance and its English speaking.
Engine power is a John Deere 125 TD (4 cyl). I assume you are talking about the boat not my wife

Your wife????....does she also need to be hauled out to have her bottom painted?....
I like your vessels lines she looks like a very seaworthy design. I certainly cant say that for most of the vessels out there many of which appear to me to always be ready to roll over or sink
