Don't sweat it Capt Jerry. I'm 20 years younger than you and I'm lucky to be able to post here much less do a picture. I'm trying to figure what a url is, I thought it was something to pee pee in.Larry

thanks all I was trying to do was to let people who were looking for a cheap boat. iput the phone # in the post, I though it was a web site not a em address, my great grand son put my profile picture on here yrs ago, I don't know how and never will I guess I have enough trouble typing with one finger LOL

That 40' Willard Navy Personnel boat has what I think is the best hull construction known Airex. It's foam sandwich at it's best. A strip of Airex foam can be tied in a knot ... and then untied. Adhesion is excellent. The foam is expensive and I think that's why you don't see lot of boats being built w it.
The Navy Personnel Boat is basically a lobsterboat hullform.

MY USN 50 ft Utility is very like a lobster boat hull, tho it has a backing rudder not usually found on lobster style hulls.
Havent seen Airex in a Utility , yet , mine had balsa in cored sections.
The 50 hulls can be has for about $30K with good engine, many have been converted to brown water cruisers.
The hull is the toughest construction , roving with no CSM , so the hull had to be laid up in one session.BIG bucks.
